This was a good series...definitely a page turner with its share of twists, turns and crazy people. First off Essence was cray cray to the tenth power... She cared about absolutely nobody but herself... The stuff that she did in this series was mind blowing and I am glad she got her just do. Malea had a good heart and it got stepped on time and time again but she remained strong throughout her journey and I am glad she came out on top. Ro in the beginning thought with his lower head and suffered the consequences throughout this series especially dealing with cray cray. I am glad he finally got his self together and became the man he should have been in the first place. Edith was a lost soul in the midst of this book to the point where she allowed herself to be manipulated and began abusing herself with drugs. I absolutely hate what she did to her mother but she was so far gone on drugs she didn't have a clue what she was doing...I glad she got the help that she needed to be a better her and got her self together because at one point I thought she wasnt going to make it especially if she continued on her path of destruction. Sapphire was a strong person. She suffered a lot emotionally and physically from the very people she thought was suppose to love her only to find out there was secrets that explained why her childhood was what it was...glad she found happiness. As for her cousin Rakeem, He was twisted but I believe he loved Essence crazy tail... But karma is karma... I was glad that Old Man Wise was true blue and Malea had a real one on her side through out everything. All in All this series was good from beginning to end. Where to start! This book shows how mental illness can impact families and how they treat each other! It showed the length and depth that people will go through to get what they want! Even when who they want doesn't want them! It showed how addiction doesn't just affect that person but those around them too! It showed how it's better to just be honest from the start! Being evil has dangerous consequences and karma is a b*ch! Definitely rang true for Essence & Rakeem! This book taught you a lot! Her pen game knows no bounds!
Ro and Melea went through so much, that's what u call making it work. Regardless of what they went through their love for each other never wavered. Edith put herself through all that she went through, but I'm so glad she got it together. I think Sapphire is good for her. They both have been through a lot in their lives. Essence was one low down dirty female. All she went through to try to make a man love her that didn't give her a second thought. But she got what she dished out and some. I loved this series from the beginning, such a page turner!!! Thank u for quenching my thirst
First and foremost May Flowers did an awesome job with the ending to this series! I loved everything from beginning to end. This book flowed perfectly and will have you anxious to find out what is going to happen next. Essence was truly a delusional chick. That girl should have been admitted into a psychiatric hospital!! I was so glad that Edith got herself together. In book one she most definitely spiraled out of control. Ro and LeeLee had their moment, but I actually believed they were meant for each other. Some things were revealed that will have you shocked. Each of them were brought together and things ended lovely for the ones that deserved happiness!!!!

Wow, this read had so many life lessons in it, mental health, jealousy and first loves. First off, Essence was a hot mess the things she went through to get a man that didn't want her!! I loved the love between Ro & Melea and the love Ro had for those he carried about. Rakeem was a straight fool. A couple of pages had me tearing up. Job well done, May Flowers.
Through all there ups and downs they got there happily ever after. Ro and Melee went through so much but they had undeniable love. Edith dealt with a lot to but glad she got herself together, her and Sapphire balance each other out. Last but not lease see how the devil work that bit@h got exactly what she deserved. She was so heartless and conniving and didn't GAF and nothing she did but looks like karma came back and bite her in the a@@. May Flowers I really enjoyed this series you did a great job!!!
