"Brothers in Arms" by Marcus Wynne is an excellent book, a borderline thriller with a plausible and well-developed plot. The characters are well-drawn, the dialogue realistic, and the writing first-rate. The only criticism I have of the book rests in the believability of the main bad-guy character, the young Muslim terrorist who has odd spasms of doubt in the righteousness of his mission as The One to employ smallpox toxin throughout North America.Special commendation goes to Wynne for his creative and normalizing treatment and portrayal of the assassin-for-hire lesbian couple (who have a small child). Kudos to the author for making them as believable and normal as he does the white heterosexual males that dominate the majority of the book's plot. Of course all the characters are severely flawed and not without their own demons, but they populate this book with style and believability.
All-in-all a very good read, especially for a holiday or long plane rides! The Kindle version did not seem to have many of the "text transfer" problems that plague other Kindle books.
A solid 4 in its genre.

Too wordy...
Action fans will love this story. The realism of the action makes the story believable. I find the how of the action very interesting. The techniques used and the investigations demonstrate real world experience. I'm glad I discovered this author.
I bought it and loved it. Lost it and bought it again. Bought a kindle and decided to by it again. Excellent book as is all of Marcus's books.
Marcus Wynne's lead characters in "No Other Option" and "Warrior in the Shadows" join forces. I was really glad to see these two characters join forces in this book and it quickly became another of my favorite books. I was disappointed with how the book ended, but this is only to what happened, not the writing. I have also purchased the version of this book.
Not bad. I enjoyed Wynnes other books a lot more..
I've read Marcus Wynne's other two novels which I enjoyed. But,this seemed to me to be the best page turner. I very much enjoyed his development of the characters of the two beautiful female assassins and even that of the lonely young Saudi terrorist who had been designated to unleash the smallpox virus in the U.S. I have read several other novels recently that really bogged down. So this was truly delightful.
The action and weaponery use and descriptions in Wynne books are so descriptive and accurate, you find yourself nodding in agreement and understanding because this guy has obviously had real world experience. Warning Page turner. If you start reading Wynne books, they will consume your mind until you have completed reading the book. So start reading Friday after work so nothing else interrupts you until you finish.
